Are Free Wedding Magazines Available?
Admittedly, free wedding magazines are much more difficult to find than wedding catalogs. The basic reason for this is wedding venors have a vested interest in their own businesses, so they create catalogs to keep their names front and center in the 
customers’ minds. They want to be remembered when it comes to making a buying decision. Magazine companies, on the other hand, represent various wedding suppliers who pay to place advertising within the magazine. Historically, magazines are obtained through subscriptions and on store magazine racks. And it is not always that easy to find a copy for free.
Despite these facts, there are still a few ways to obtain free wedding magazines. Often, bridal magazine companies will hand out older copies of the magazines at wedding shows and fairs. For example, if the magazine is a quarterly publication, they might hand the last edition. The give brides a chance to view the magazine and still read about valueable tips and wedding planning ideas. Further, some companies hand out a batch of free magazines to advertisers. That means if a bridal salon takes out the cover of the magazine, for instance, the magazine company provides so many copies so that the bridal salon can distribute them to their customers.
Another way to get a free wedding magazine is to agree to take out a subscription. But this method usually requires some form of payment or guarantee up front. 
Lastly, there are many communities that have smaller bridal magazines. Individuals will publish their own magazines and they normally offer these for free since they made their money from the advertisers. These can usually be found at local wedding shows and throughout the community in different vendor locations. As a rule in suppliers who have taken an ad in the magazine.
